Racing Hearts

In Pennsylvania forests
of mystery
there comes to pass
a unique time
when life abounds
with all that is
as chartreuse copse embrace
slivers of sunlight
and shade mobiles
among the nooks of ardor
or the enchanted crannies
wherein lies secrets to be learned
of new worlds and awesome wonders;
as such of a kiss,
of two hearts racing each other.
